Road Ready is a classroom program that includes a variety of interactive activities designed to help make young people aware of issues relating to safer road use before they begin to learn to drive.

The course includes a range of problem solving and decision-making sessions, statistical analysis, group tasks and research assignments.

Most ACT secondary school students are able to take the course for free at their school, including the Road Rules Knowledge Test, as part of their year 10 program.

If you have already left school or you are unable to complete the Road Ready Course at school, you can take the course at a Road Ready Centre. It costs $175.00 (including GST), which includes 3 attempts at the Road Rules Knowledge Test - retesting, if you are unsuccessful, costs $40.00 (including GST).

For information regarding provision of the Road Ready Course for Non English Speaking Background and Special Needs Groups - please contact the Road Ready Centre on telephone 61625152.
