Wrong!

If you see a bicycle rider in the left lane of a multi-lane roundabout but you wish to proceed straight ahead in the right lane, you should:

  • Accelerate quickly so that you pass the bicycle rider before the exit of the roundabout;
  • Proceed carefully and give way to the bicycle rider if they continue to turn right from the left lane; or
  • Wait in the right hand lane until the bicycle rider is clear of the intersection.
